Stay in Touch
When we become so busy with the many roles we play,
whether we want to admit it or not, we lose ourselves. We lose touch with who we are as individuals. God wants us to fulfill our responsibilities as spouses, parents, siblings, friends, and of course in whatever work we do. However, God has come
and given us life that we may have it in abundance. That includes having an
abundant life as an individual.
Why would God make us so unique if he didn't
want us to enjoy who we are as individuals? Of course we all need each other, and we are smaller parts of a greater whole. Because of that, we must use our unique gifts to
edify the body of Christ. Along with that, we are created as individuals and
each one of us is fearfully and wonderfully made. And I believe wholeheartedly
God intends for us to maintain that individuality and enjoy who we are as
individuals.
The same way you love and enjoy the characteristics, uniqueness and company of your spouse, your children, your
family members, your friends is the same way you should love and enjoy your own
characteristics, uniqueness and company.
So, what do you love about you? What makes you
unique? What do you enjoy doing? What do you like and dislike? Get to really know you. Fall in love and stay in touch with you - the beautifully unique, fearfully and wonderfully made
you that God created you to be. And enjoy life abundantly!
